This blog was created to share experiences from my building of the Ian Farrier designed trimaran F-22R with other builders interested, and to anyone else that might have an interest in why anyone willingly spends hundreds of hours in a room without windows to build a weird looking boat that will sail circles around the traditional sailing boats in this part of the world

Daggerboard
Finally got the daggerboard out of the mould. Looks great. Quite a bit taller than me. Need a bit of paint.
Painted with a generous coat of epoxy primer
And fitted while the boat was suspended in a crane in Guttorm's farm.
You must antifouling your tip of your daggerboard +/- 30cm. Last weekend I cleand the boat and the daggerboard and the tip had some barnicals. I lift my daggerboard everytime after sailing.
Thanks, I will do Arno. For now I have no antifouling anywhere, will pull the boat up again soon for repairs and instruments. I will antifoul main and daggerboard at least before next spring launch, think it will not stay in the water much during winter.
