Glued them in with micro fibre thickened epoxy and let the epoxy cure a bit. Then I filled around the edges. Doubler plate laminated.

Have you ever wondered what a piece of oak looks like when covered in substantial amounts of carbon fibres? Actually almost the same as any other carbon fibre structure...
Ok now is the hard and interesting part, the forward passageway flange. Good luck, I will be wanting a full report of what to do and what not to do.
ReplyDeleteIt was not so hard, just invisible. I'm not sure I gathered information on what not to do, but it seems what I did could work out. Well, still the inside tape to do.
